Photo Dump

JG's post:

Playing catchup. Some scenes from the last week or so.
First: the asado (Argentine barbecue) we were invited to:

Hard to tell from the above, but an Argentine asado makes use of the entire animal, so we got homemade morcilla (blood sausage) and chinchulines (roast intestines).
The asado was at the picnic area of a private sailing club, right in the city but complicated to drive to (much to the consternation of our taxi drive, who muttered to himself quite a bit). (Aside: taxis here are in the astonishingly cheap category.) Charlie and I got to climb inside one of the boats, courtesy of Charlie's new friend Lola and her parents.
Charlie says: I loved the boat and I loved the paddleboat [below] also.  The paddleboat is the one where you see some ducks in the background and there's a guy that's going around the trees and with me wearing a lifejacket. The other boat is where you see Lola and me sitting at the table and watching television. Lola is the girl who you see is putting her hand on the table.

Yesterday (Friday, March 31, Charlie got another carousel ride. She says: The carousel was so fun!

Lastly: More shots of Jamie's amazing homemade empanadas:
